1950
The manufacture of cast iron bakery kneaders was launched.
1955
A new manufacturing range of building machinery was launched, producing various types of concrete mixers, hoists and block making machines.
1960
A wide range of electro submersible pumps was launched.
1967
The first part of the new Nemitsas factory in Limassol's industrial area was completed. The expansion of the factory was completed in various steps, up to 1976.
1972
The first numerical control CNC lathe machines were installed in the machine shop. Gradually, more CNC machines are added to this department.
1978
The new main offices and showrooms were constructed at the present location of Nemitsas factory.
1987
At the end of 1987 the new fully automatic foundry plant was installed, together with a new sand plant and a moulding plant.
1992
The company was certified with Cyprus Standard Organization CYS 183 for the manufacture of quality cast iron manhole covers and frames.
2000
Nemitsas Ltd was certified and registered in ISO 9001:1994 quality management system by CYS and BSI.
2002
Nemitsas Ltd have upgraded their certification to the new standard
ISO 9001:2000
2009
Empex Ltd was certified and registered by the Cyprus Certification Company, CYS, according to the Quality System EN ISO 9001:2008
