LIMASSOL MARINA: Our company has signed an important contract for the supply of compaction equipment, generating sets, pumps and other equipment to the Joint Venture Limassol Marina Ltd, which is a very prestigious project, the first of its kind in Cyprus and among the biggest projects caried our in our country.

NEW EXCLUSIVE AGENCIES: The expansion and diversification of our activities in Cyprus are always of primary importance to our Company. Our efforts are quite successful and in July 2010 we have been appointed exclusive agents and distributors af the following leading International companies: AGGRETECH of Germany, for their full range of silent and open type generating sets with a capacity up to 3400KVA, MARINI -FAYAT asphalt plants, WILDEN air operated double diaphragm pumps. And more will follow shortly!!

AGRO LIBYA 2010: We have participated in this exhibition in collaboration with Agritech Ltd a local company which is our distributor for the Libyan market. We have received many farmers and institutional buyers of pumps at our stand and our participation was very successful.

BUILD LIBYA 2010: Our participation at this exhibition was very successful. We received at our stand several Libyan officials, professionals from Libya and neighbouring countries as well as hundreds of end users who showed keen interest in our pumps.

2009

1. Big 5 Exhibition, Dubai, 23-26 November 2009

We had several hundreds of professional visitors at our stand, from various countries of the Middle East, Africa and the Far East who showed a lot of interest to undertake the distribution of our products in their countries. Our participation was so successful that we decided to participate again, in 2010.

2. Our participation at the 2009 Cyprus Agricultural Exhibition, Agrifair, from 21-25 October 2009 was a great success.We received more than 20,000 visitors at our stand the vast majority of which were professionals who showed keen interest in our products. Several deals were also concluded at the Fair.

3. The construction of our New Factory begun during the 1st week of September. It is expected to be completed before August 2010.

4.On the 9th of July, 2009, Empex Ltd Ltd was certified according to the Quality System  CYS EN ISO 9001:2008

5. Our participation at the 2009 Agro Libya Exhibition, in Tripoli, Libya, in June 2009 was very successful. We received at our stand the Minister of Agriculture of Libya, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, representatives of agricultural associations as well a big number of traders and customers of the Nemitsas water pumps.

2008

1. Our participation at the First Commercial Vehicle and Heavy Machinery Exhibition, at the Cyprus International Fair Grounds, in Nicosia, from 23 to 26 October, 2008, was very successful. We received at our stand the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, officials of the Fair and most importantly all our customers.

2. Empex Ltd has successfully launched a complete range of 4’’,6’’ and 8’’ fully stainless steel, Nemitsas Electric Submersible pumps, with casted stainless steel impellers. 2007

1. Our Company has acquired 5600m2 of land where we will build our New Factory, in the Industrial Area of Ayios Sylas, just outside Limassol. The new plant is expected to be completed in August 2010.

Until then, our manufacturing activities will continue at the Nemitsas Plant. 

2. During this first year of our operation, which was completed in April 2008, the Industrial Division of Empex Ltd has successfully executed several important overseas contracts.

Among others, we have won a Government Tender in Yemen, relating to the supply of a substantial number of Nemitsas deep well turbine pumps with angle gears and which were successfully delivered and installed by our agents in Yemen.

We have also successfully distributed several hundreds of Nemitsas deep well turbine and Electric submersible pumps to our export markets where we enjoy substantial market shares.  

3. Our Trading Division also enjoys high market shares in Cyprus, in particular with the very reputable Nemitsas water pumps and generating sets, BOMAG compaction Machines, HATZ diesel engines and gen sets, and with the full range of BRIGGS & STRATTON petrol engines and outdoor power products such as gen sets, pressure cleaners, surface centrifugal pumps. Empex Ltd has also high market shares in the market for electric surface centrifugal pumps and pressure systems, construction machinery and equipment and various other engineering and agricultural products.
